In this unit we will discover how people came to the United States and discuss their contributions to its growth and development. We will also discuss where our families immigrated from; since many of us do not have descendants that are a part of the original people of what is now the United States of America.

We completed Unit 17 and have gone back to Unit 1 Discovering Social Scientists. The students will begin discovering artifacts that each scientist would be interested in learning more about.
